Parallel battery upgrade failed.

          A:1. Turn off the inverter.
2. Turn off all battery DC breakers.
3. Upgrade the batteries one by one.
4. After all batteries have been upgraded, turn on the DC breakers one by one.
5. If the above methods fail, please contact our technician.

Battery reports an open-circuit fault.

          A:1. Restart the BMS.
2. Contact technical support for assistance.

What safety features and precautions are incorporated into the design of E10 to minimize the risk of failures?

          A:In terms of software, it is equipped with three-level protection for charging and discharging current, three-level protection for voltage overvoltage, three-level protection for high temperature, three-level protection for overload, three-level protection for the difference in charging and discharging current, three-level protection for voltage difference, and insulation detection and protection function.
In terms of hardware, the battery cells are made by CATL, which are safe, reliable, and have good consistency. There is special heat-insulating material between the battery cells. It is equipped with safety fuses and an aerosol fire suppression device inside the battery. The battery protection rating reaches IP65.

In which emergency situations do we need to shut down the battery system? What else needs to be done when shutting down the battery system?

          A:In the case of extreme weather conditions like rainstorms and floods, it is recommended to cut off the power supply in advance, preferably by tripping all circuit breakers. If the circuit breakers cannot be tripped in advance, it is necessary to inspect the batteries on site after the extreme weather passes to check for any damage, and immediately stop using them if any damage is found.

What are the requirements for the installation location of E10?

          A:1. Our E10 batteries can be mounted on the wall or on the ground. 
2. The E10 should be installed <1 meter from the ground to avoid damages in case of dropping.
3. If installed outdoors, do not allow E10 to be exposed to direct sunlight, rain and snow. 
4. The installation location should have good ventilation.

Can we install multiple E10 units in parallel indoors? If so, how much separation distances is needed between the units to ensure good ventilation and easy maintenance? ?Is a fire resisting barrier necessary between the units?

          A:1. It is recommended to install them in an environment with good ventilation to ensure the operating temperature. However, it's also acceptable to install them in an enclosed plant room as long as the temperature does not exceed the operating temperature of the batteries.
2. Energy expansion: For multiple units installations, there is no need for fire resisting barrier, and can also be installed side by side without any intervals.
3. Power expansion: For multiple units installations, there is no need for fire resisting barrier, just maintain sufficient spacing (at least 20cm) between them.

What are the built-in features of the battery that support or respond to fire safety?

          A:1. The battery's internal system has various safety monitoring functions that cut off the battery when any monitored value exceeds the safe limit, preventing charging or discharging. Additionally, the battery can be connected to the Smart Life APP, allowing you to check the battery status anytime through your mobile phone.
2. The battery is IP65 rated, with a well-sealed battery compartment that creates a thin air environment. Furthermore, it is equipped with an aerosol fire extinguishing capsule inside. Once abnormal temperature detected, the inert gaseous extinguishing agent releases and fills up the battery enclosure within 3s to remove Oxygen to put out the fire (this device has a validity period of up to 10 years). Additionally, the battery cells are of CATL's Grade A quality (the highest quality), ensuring stable performance and extremely low risk of ignition. Thermal insulation and flame retardant protective plates are added between the cells, and the modules are also wrapped in flame-retardant materials.

The battery level LED is lit normally, but the system is not charging/discharging.

          A:Check the inverter settings:
1. Ensure that GREEN battery is correctly selected in the inverter's battery list.
2. Observe the inverter's display screen for State of Charge (SOC) indication.
Verify the CAN communication cable is connected properly between the E10 battery and the inverter.
3. If the issue persists, turn off the inverter, solar switches (if applicable), and the battery circuit breaker. Ensure there is no voltage at the battery connection point. Disconnect all wiring and reconnect following the installation manual in SECTION 3.5. Restart the battery then restart the inverter. If the problem persists, contact customer service for further assistance.
